LinkedIn

LinkedIn is a vital tool in my marketing strategy for my job at National Event Company (NECO). I write press releases, blogs and run the company’s social networking aspects and LinkedIn is by far one of the most effective. The professionalism and quality of content on LinkedIn is really unmatched elsewhere in social networking in my opinion. I join many groups pertaining to topics that I cover in my blog so I can promote the articles that I write to gain constructive criticism and some great comments from other professionals in the marketing field and even some pro-athletes in the NFL.

When I typed in my keyword for the LinkIn jobs I entered “Marketing Manager”. I got a pretty big list of companies like Hasbro seeking marketing manager jobs in Providence. This job interests me because I am currently a in the marketing field and am majoring in marketing. I would love to be the head honcho in the marketing department of a corporation one day. My experience as a “Online Marketing Manager” at NECO has given me a good amount of contacts as well as a slew of experience as I’ve worked there for three years. LinkIn offers many opportunities to connect with key players in your desired field. I use this social networking site daily and will continue to do so for some time as I have loved the results and perks of meeting and working with people on this platform.
